We recently completed a concrete cutting project in a shopping center in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of an ongoing remodeling effort. The project involved precision concrete cutting to accommodate the installation of new plumbing fixtures and floors.
Here are the details of the job:
- We cut out a 32x32 square and removed the concrete to allow the installation of new pipes for a toilet. The work was performed flush against the wall, ensuring a seamless transition for the customer.
- In the mop sink area, we created a 30x30 square cutout for the installation of a new mop sink drain and floor. The customer requested precise cuts against each of the walls to fit their new floor and drain, even within the constraints of a confined space.
One of the critical aspects of our work is maintaining cleanliness. Our wet cutting method not only minimizes dust but also offers several advantages, including:
- Reduced airborne dust, which is beneficial for the health and safety of all involved.
- Precision cuts with minimal damage to surrounding structures.
- Increased cooling, extending the life of the cutting tools.
Additionally, when on-site disposal is needed, we aim to provide comprehensive solutions. In this case, the shopping center had a convenient disposal area with a ramp, making the process efficient and hassle-free for our valued customers.
