This is our core drill bit drilling a brick wall for a local contractor in Winston Salem, NC. The Video is one of our core drilling crew core drilling a foundation wall for a 4-inch PVC pipe so the hole had to be 5" in diameter. Many plumbers, electricians HVAC, pipefitters, and such often will give the pipe size when explaining the size hole that is needed. A skilled core drill operator should always ask if that is the size of the hole, Right? Not the pipe.

A five-inch core will not usually popped, that is break off evenly at the bottom, unless the hole drilling depth is a least 5 ich or more.
